Cookie policy
What cookies and similar technologies this site uses, and how to control them.
Last updated: 2 July 2026
This cookie policy explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies. We keep our use of them to a minimum: only what's needed to run the site well and understand how it's used.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things between pages and visits, and help owners understand how the site is performing.
How we use them
- Essential. A small number of cookies are needed for the site to work, to keep it secure, and to remember your cookie choices. These don't track you and can't be switched off.
- Analytics. With your consent, we use analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
- Advertising. With your consent, advertising tools may measure whether a campaign brought you here. We only use these when we're actually running a campaign; nothing in this category is set without your say-so.
Analytics and advertising cookies stay off unless you switch them on. We use Google Consent Mode, so the tools we load are told about your choice and behave accordingly.
Your choices
The first time you visit, a banner asks what you're happy with. Your answer is stored for six months, then we ask again. You can change your mind at any point:, or use the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and set most browsers to block them. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working as intended. Your browser's help pages explain how to manage cookies for your specific device.
